    Dairy Farmer Discussion Group

    Dairy Australia'™s new Dairy Farmer Discussion Group Resources Kit is designed to help farmers and advisors establish and run successful discussion groups.

    The kit is a simple guide offering insight into what makes group-based extension effective and successful in driving change on farm.

    The new resource includes detailed fact sheets on forming and coordinating a group, tips from an experienced facilitator and information about how to access Dairy Australia discussion group funding.

    Social media is defined as: websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking.

    Social media allows you to connect and share info with people and/or organisations.

    The dairy industry has a number of social media platforms and channels that you can use to to stay in touch with what's happening in dairy. Also, we use social media platforms too.

Our Farm, Our Plan is a new program designed to equip farmers to clarify their long term goals, identify the actions needed and to manage uncertainty and risk.

Hay and grain reports

The hay and grain report is commissioned by Dairy Australia to provide an independent and timely assessment of hay and grain markets in each dairying region. The report is updated 40 weeks per year.
