Project Development Manager Land Water and Climate

We are looking to recruit a Project Manager to work with a range of industry stakeholders from farmers through to processors to government authorities at local, state and federal level. The role of the Project manager is to provide support to the design, management and delivery/extension of existing and new projects across the areas of sustainability, climate change, water and soil issues relating to the dairy industry.

Primary functions of the role will include capture of relevant data for assessment and will require the successful candidate to work autonomously, but also as part of a small, focused team. This will require effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders with a strong effort to collaborate across industry, as well as also relevant Natural Resource Management partners.

Ideally, the successful candidate will possess some agricultural production and/or agribusiness experience and be capable and feel comfortable in communicating and discussing complex issues with all stakeholders.  Candidates with a strong understanding and/or industry experience in Natural Resource Management, climate change and/or sustainability based roles will be strongly considered.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, influencing and organisational skills, and future opportunities to progress through the business will be available for high performing candidates.
