Young Dairy Network Steering Committee

The Young Dairy Network Steering Committee is the peak consultative forum for the Murray Dairy Young Dairy Network.

The purpose of this Steering Committee is to provide direction and leadership to the wider Young Dairy Network and foster the continued development of the regional YDN to ensure its continued sustainability. The committee is responsible for providing recommendations to Murray Dairy and Young Dairy Network Australia regarding future goals, gaps, challenges and funding opportunities for the network.

Regional Extension and Education Committee (REEC)

The Regional Extension and Education Committee (REEC) helps identify and prioritise future dairy industry projects, courses and events in our region.

Regional Dairy Groups (RNGs) provide an avenue for dairy farmers to contribute to Murray Dairy’s regional priority setting and planning for education and extension.

Our Farm, Our Plan

Our Farm, Our Plan is a new program designed to equip farmers to clarify their long term goals, identify the actions needed and to manage uncertainty and risk.

Hay and grain reports

The hay and grain report is commissioned by Dairy Australia to provide an independent and timely assessment of hay and grain markets in each dairying region. The report is updated 40 weeks per year.
